Welcome to Stroud and Tetbury Scouts

By 2023 we will have prepared more young people with skills for life, supported by amazing leaders delivering an inspiring programme.

Our Vision


We will be growing, more inclusive, shaped by young people and making a bigger impact in our communities.

Archery, bouldering, camping, expeditions, experiments, fire lighting, life-saving, raft building, sailing, zip lining… sound interesting?

Just a few of the activities over 1,100 young people aged between 6 and 25 in Stroud and Tetbury District get up to on a weekly basis; and the fun is managed (and often tested in advance) by over 200 adults.

Stonehouse History Group

A piece of history, 1st Stonehouse Scout Group

Well done to everyone who took part in today's Swimmer stage 1 assessment. Over 50 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from across the District took part to gain their Swimmer Stage 1 badges, completing activities such as a distance swim, treading water and fish and glide.

November 2018 - Stomp 2018

What a busy weekend at Stomp 2018! 270 participants, 39 teams.

This years event saw the biggest numbers of participants ever before seen as 270 participants 'stomped' their away across the Stroud valleys taking part in our annual 9 miles activity night hike. Well done to every who took part, we knew this year wasn't going to be easy.
