Master at Arms Air Rifle Shooting Course

A chance to have a go at air rifle shooting, learn how to shoot, improve your skills, and learn about the legal aspects of shooting and gain your Scout Master at Arms badge or Explorer Physical Recreation Badge. The Farriers Challenge is an annual night event for Cubs, incorporating a wide variety of teamwork challenges and activities on a 3-mile route around Selsley Common. Starting and finishing at Penn Wood Scout Centre teams of 3 – 6 Cubs, accompanied by a leader/adult, set off around the route with the aim of scoring the most points on all of the challenges (and hopefully returning to the site in one piece). Jamboree on the Trail

Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together. All Scouts, whatever their age and wherever they may be in the world, are invited to participate in whatever way they can. Beaver Scouts could visit a local park, walking the trails and playing games. Cub Scouts could visit a local nature trail as part of a weekend camp. We are hoping to run a watersports day for cubs and for scouts and explorers in June 2020. As a leader/adult in scouting are you able to help with this event so it can go ahead? We need people able to run water activities with Scout Watersports Permits and people able to help on land with land activities, signing in, first aid, refreshments etc. Contact the activities team if you are able to help in anyway.
